The Laboratory for Physical Sciences (LPS), established in 1956, is a unique organization with state-of-the-art labs where university, industry, and federal government scientists collaborate on research into quantum information science, high performance computing, silicon photonics, 2D materials, magnetic devices, antennas, printed hybrid electronics, and advanced and additive manufacturing.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work effectively across several different functional areas in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Handle and prioritize multiple assignments, synthesize information to solve complex problems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which includes a background investigation and polygraph.
  • US Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelors, Masters, or a Doctoral degree.

PAY & BENEFITS

Pay is commensurate with years of experience and degree level, between GS grades 07/1 to 15/10. LPS values work-life balance and offers flexible working schedules and remote work, where possible.
