INDUS X Educational Series: Gurukul Program
Overview
The Gurukul Educational Series is inspired from the ancient Indian Tradition of propagating education through learning via experience and discussions led by enlightened teachers and curious students. Through this series, we invite the visionaries of India and the U.S. for ‘semi-formal’ discussions with startups, students, innovators, and anyone willing and curious to learn more to develop deeper people-to-people ties. Speakers for this inaugural iteration include Jasjit Singh, the Executive Director of SelectUSA, Andrew Magliochetti, Managing Partner at IronGate Capital Advisors, Sidharth Narayanan, Senior Vice President and Chief Industry Officer, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Avinash Ramanathan, Vice President of Kalaari Capital. This edition of Gurukul will be moderated by Lauren Bedula, the Managing Director at Beacon Global Strategies.

About National Security Innovation Network
NSIN is a program office in the U.S. Department of Defense, nested within the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). We are set up to collaborate with a wide variety of innovators to include universities, researchers, students, entrepreneurs and start-ups. We create opportunities for collaboration across communities and connect those that might not traditionally work in national security. Together, we help drive national security innovation and develop technologies that directly support the individuals responsible for protecting our country.
