X-Force Information for

Department of Defense Hosts
The NSIN X-Force Fellowship addresses real-world national security problems that require technical and entrepreneurial expertise. DoD project sponsors will be matched with a team of X-Force Fellows (2-3) that will provide diverse viewpoints and skills that match the project sponsor’s needs. Upon the conclusion of the Fellowship, teams will deliver whitepapers, proof-of-concepts, and/or early-stage prototypes. DoD project sponsors must provide action officers that can commit 3-5 hours per week to engage with the Fellows and offer guidance/feedback.
By the end of the program, sponsors receive a demonstration of the capability developed by their fellows and are expected to continue development and iteration afterward.
The problem submission period for Department of Defense sponsors is open until 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 15, 2023.
