About the branch: Maintains decision advantage of warfighters by enabling human-analytic teaming in the collection and analysis of complex data. Airman Systems Directorate, Bioeffects Division (RHD) | San Antonio, TX
About RHD: The mission of the Optical Radiation Bioeffects Branch (711 HPW/RHDO) is the enable our forces to function safely, effectively, and efficiently on the directed energy battlefield. We do this through characterizing Bioeffects from lasers, determining system optimization for safe and effective use of lasers, assessing collateral hazards from laser use, and optimizing visual performance while ensuring protection against directed energy laser strikes. Through collaborations across the DoD, academic, industry, and international partners, we enable our warfighters to “win the fight with focused light”!
